Overseas Horse Services

Overseas Horse Services can either provide part of a shipment (e.g. airfreight only) or full stable-to-stable services. We also organise transport between the stables of origin and the airport. (or the other way around off course). This either done in a modern first class OHS-trailer or in a horsebox owned by one of our partners.

The OHS-trailer is especially designed and made with the latest technology to secure the best travel conditions for the horses. It's fully equiped with observation monitors,fresh water supply, air suspension, soft rubber flooring, gps-navigation system, low access off/unloading ramps,...

In some occasions we also use the services of sub-contractors to bring several horses together heading in the same direction.This might also allow us to offer better rates to our clients. We make sure that any subcontractor is also experienced and meets our high standards.

During many years now, our company has developed a global network of horse shipping agents in most importing and exporting countries.  Thanks to our good co-operation with these partners, your horse is being supervised until it safely reaches the final destination.  

All horses being shipped, handled and/or stabled by Overseas Horse Services are at owner's risk and are supposed to be insured by the owner, unless otherwise agreed in written. Although incidents during air and road transport rarely happen, your horse represents a sizeable investment! 

Next to shipping horses, we can also make arrangements for your grooms, horse equipment, etc.
