Cancellation fees on KLM Cargo

Severe cancellation policy

KLM Cargo, just like most other airlines, is applying a severe policy for cancellation of horse shipments by agents and/or their clients. This means that cancellations are only allowed (with no additional charges), up to 4 days before scheduled departure date. If the cancellation is made 3 days prior scheduled departure date, there will be a cancellation fee of 25% of the normal airfreight. Cancellations made 2 days prior scheduled departure date will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the normal airfreight. And finally: for cancellations made 1 day (or less) before scheduled departure date, there will be a cancellation fee of 75% of the normal rate. We recommend our clients to take this new policy into account, as we will have no alternative than to forward cancellations fees to the client.
